The Daily Dig — Ancient World Trivia

The Daily Dig is Atlas Anatolia’s free daily trivia: five questions drawn from the published archaeological-site dossiers on this atlas, rotating by UTC date. It is a study aid, not a prize game — there is no signup, no timer that punishes slow reading, and no affiliate or sponsored answers.

Each prompt is grounded in the same records visitors read on site pages: recorded start dates, modern countries, continents, and the evidence-rated entries we maintain for places such as Göbekli Tepe, Pompeii, Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, and hundreds of other excavated sites across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania. Image rounds use the local thumbnails already on the atlas; date and country rounds use the structured fields behind each dossier.

Use it in a classroom, on a commute, or as a way into a site you have not opened yet. Wrong answers still reveal the place and a short note, with a link to the full encyclopedic page so you can check the claim against sources. A new five-question route is assembled every UTC day from the live catalog of published sites.
